PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK
Positions of this class are responsible for full-time dispatching work including receiving, logging, interpreting, prioritizing and communicating a variety of information.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school and some dispatching experience and experience dealing with the public; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Computer experience and strong communication skills helpful.
TYPE OF EXAMINATION:
Examination will be a multiple-choice test.
