PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK

Position is responsible for custodial and housekeeping duties in and around City-Parish buildings.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to read and write; and considerable experience in custodial work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Some positions may require working in non-climate-controlled environments and/or grounds maintenance duties. A Valid Louisiana Driver’s license is required for some positions, prior to appointment. Applicants must submit a copy of a valid driver’s license to be considered for those jobs which require one.  Current position is at the Police department and background checks will be required.  List will be used for any vacancy at Lafayette Consolidated Government.

TYPE OF EXAMINATION:

No test.
