PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK

Position operates a tractor with a 15-foot bush hog and/or finishing mower, and various pieces of equipment, such as chain saws, pruners, and weed eaters to cut grass and perform municipal park maintenance. Also performs restroom cleaning duties and trash duties.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to read and write; experience in the operation of equipment similar to those described herein; or any equivalent combination of training and experience is desired.

NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATION

Valid driver’s license required to apply. Valid Louisiana driver’s license, prior to appointment required.

TYPE OF EXAMINATION

Performance test on independent operation of tractor and 15’ finishing mower/bush hog.
