PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK
Responsible for creating, installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and updating personal computers and servers, operating system and hardware, as well as some network peripherals and network hardware. Responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory accounts and Organizational Units as well as Exchange email creation and updating as necessary. Responsible for the review and verification of the enterprise backup software and offsite tape storage at our remote location. The position will install, implement, and support third-party software used by the Technical Services section as needed. The position will also assist end users will troubleshooting, documenting, and providing documentation based on issue.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, experience in maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting enterprise network servers, personal computers, routers, and switches, experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange servers, MS Powershell, Commvault backup software, and Cisco Unity Connection (voicemail), or any combination of education and experience.
TYPE OF EXAMINATION
Examination will be a written test.
