PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK

Responsible for serving as technical architect in planning, designing, and implementing computer information systems which include hardware, software, and associated networks. Position serves as project/team leader to manage designated projects. Responsible for designing and development of program applications and reports utilizing various program languages.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a closely related field, as well as considerable professional experience as a programmer, programmer analyst, or systems analyst; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience with system integration tools (APIs, web services, XML), database management (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle), and application development (JAVA, ASP.net, SQL, JavaScript, etc.). Experience with business intelligence and reporting solutions, Linux operating systems, virtualization platforms, and system administration desirable. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required.

TYPE OF EXAMINATION—Examination will be a rating of education and experience.
