PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK

Position performs technical work on electrical engineering projects, with responsibility for performing prescribed assignments involving a sequence of related operations. Acting as coordinator, provide technical support for technicians in the field – premise and fiber related – in their day-to-day performance of trouble ticket service calls as well as customer service orders. Process all phone port requests, in and out of network, and maintain an account record of all transactions. Work with sales and customers to resolve any outstanding issues on service requests. Work through provisioning tasks to complete customer requested account changes as well as disconnect flows.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

High school and on-the-job experience and/or technical training in telecommunications related to job duties – specifically to coordinating and providing technical support for field personnel and provisioning telecommunications services.

TYPE OF EXAMINATION - Examination will be a multiple-choice test.
