NATURE AND PURPOSE

Conducts profile/topographic surveys of locations experiencing inadequate drainage conditions.  Provides contractor coordination for Drainage’s Hourly Rental Contract and technical support. 

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Associate’s Degree or completion of a technical specialty program of eighteen months – three years duration in civil engineering technology (or closely related field) and significant prior working experience in the civil engineering field incorporating the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the specific position.

NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a valid driver’s license to apply. Possession of a valid Louisiana driver’s license, prior to appointment.

TYPE OF EXAMINATION - Examination will be a multiple-choice test.
