PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK

Manages sales and marketing division to develop and implement marketing strategies, campaigns, and sponsorships to produce quantifiable, positive results.  Creates sales plans. Researches and analyzes customer and market trends. Supervises professional marketing, analytical, and clerical personnel. Works closely with other divisions to implement sales and service package promotions to increase market penetration and customer retention.  Creates reports and presentations and delivers to Fiber Management Team as well as City-Parish Council to communicate LUS Fiber’s market position.  Manages marketing and division budgets.  Reports to Director of LUS Fiber.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from an accredited college with major course work in Marketing, Public Relations, or closely related.  Excellent written and verbal skills, as well as ability to create and deliver complex presentations using multiple platforms.  Knowledge of telecommunications industry.

SPECIAL NECESSARY QUALIFICATION

Substantial work experience in sales and marketing including personnel management and budgetary duties.

TYPE OF EXAMINATION - Rating of education and experience through a structured interview.
